I would like to gain more general labouring experience after recent small stint in this field of work which I thoroughly enjoyed and felt that it suited my skills and abilities. I am now near the completion of CSCS short course to gain my card to enable me to have the basic health and safety requirements.
I am capable, strong and I can work flexible hours. I enjoy team work and I am eager to start work immediately.
I assisted a handyman who works within maintenance of student housing. This experience truly opened my eyes into my interest in labouring and construction related work. During this time, I was trusted tasks such as moving furniture, fixing items, cleaning drains and checking keys over different sites, for example. I was hired to cover a busy period; however I would love to continue in this field. Following this I applied to undergo the CSCS course to gain essential health and safety knowledge in order to secure and pursue on-site labouring work.
I help out with my father’s business. This has given me responsibility and given me a chance to learn new catering skills. Tasks include supervising the grilled meats, wrapping orders, serving customers both over the phone and front of house, and using the till. I help in preparing the shop for opening and helping with general cleaning at the end of shift. I help out as required in emergencies
I worked part- time at Matalan for 14 months. I frequently worked on the tills serving customers and dealt with a loyalty card system and ‘click and collect’ on- line service collections
I help keep the store tidy and stocked both inside and outside of opening hours. I open ordered stock and customer orders and organize it ready for the collection or for the shop floor.
